The Charlotte Torah Center would like to thank our 2008 volunteers for your hard work and dedication. Our community is thriving because of you, and in 2009 we hope to expand our volunteer base to meet our needs as we continue to grow. Please consider joining us to help bring more meaningful and fun Judaism into your life and to others in Charlotte. CTC Volunteer Opportunities (updated on 1/13/09):
Facilities Committee (Rabbi Binyamin Levin - Chair):
- 2-3 volunteers to help with managing the CTC facilities and grounds.
Fundraising Committee (Rachel Berendt - Chair):
- 2-3 volunteers to help with fundraising.
Kiddush Committee:
- 1 Kiddush Committee Chair
- 3-5 volunteers to help shop, cook, prep, set-up and clean-up for kiddush.
Kindness (Helping Hands) Committee:
- 1 Kindness Committee Chair
- 3-4 volunteers to help make phone calls, write notes, organize special events, etc.
Marketing Committee (Yelena Hertzberg - Chair):
- 1 Assistant Marketing Committee Chair
- 3-4 volunteers to help with marketing ideas, graphic design, flyer distribution, writing articles, website, photography, etc.
Membership Committee (Robert Sterling - Chair):
- 2-3 volunteers to help with recruitment, data entry, follow-ups, etc.
Programming Committee (Sara Oppenheim - Chair):
- 1-2 volunteers to help organize group classes.
- 2 Special Events Coordinators - to help head up the special events such as speakers, family and holiday events, high holiday services, etc.
- 3-5 volunteers to help organize, shop, set-up and clean up for the special events.
Neshei Charlotte (Women's Group) Committee (Lisa Bixen - Chair):
- 3-4 volunteers to help organize, shop, set-up and clean up for all neshei events.
Youth Programming Committee:
- 1 Youth Programming Chair
- 3-4 volunteers to help organize, shop, set-up and clean-up for all the children's and family events and classes.
