Tuesday February 3 at 8 p.m. at the CTC
Torah for Teens: One Nation, One Land from Creation to Current Events.
This group focuses on Torah discussions based on the needs and questions of our teens. Sorry, no parents allowed! No charge for the class, but donations are always needed and welcomed.

Tuesday February 3 at 8 p.m. At the CTC
CJWI Women’s Learning Group – Series on Women in the Bible and Beyond. Classes are open to all Jewish women. No membership and no affiliation required. Focus is on the women who impacted our history and what we as American Modern Jewish Women can learn from them today. Who were they? What did they deal with? How did they handle relationships, sibling rivalry, parenting and more.  Come and bring a friend. This series is lead by our own genuine and inspiring educator and counselor, Sara Oppenheim. No charge for this class, but donations are always needed and welcomed.

Wednesday February 4 at 7 p.m. at the CTC
CJWI Social – The Spice of Life in honor of TuB’Shevat, the Birthday of the Trees. Join the women of CTC for our monthly Rosh Chodesh social. This event is open to all Jewish women. No membership and no affiliation required. To celebrate the TuB’Shevat we’ll explore the healing powers of spices and design our own spicy craft. Please bring 15 copies of your favorite fruit recipe and indicate meat, dairy or pareve. If you need assistance with that, contact Sara@charlottetorahcenter.com Cost is $10 and snacks will be served.
Wednesday February 4 at 8 p.m. at the CTC
Mesilas Yesharim: The Path of the Just class. Rabbi Oppenheim provides in depth analysis of one of the most classic Jewish works on character development and self awareness written by the 18th century Italian Kabbalist and philosopher, Rabbi Moshe Chaim Luzatto. All classes are free of charge but donations are always welcomed to help sustain the Charlotte Torah Center. This interactive class is given weekly on Wednesday evenings.

Thursday February 5 from 7-8:30 p.m. At the CTC
10 Lessons to Transform 10 Year Marriages
This class is  open to people married at least 10 years and will give clear and  practical instruction for how to make the second decade of marriage more popular than the first. This series runs consecutive Thursdays and is given by Rabbi Oppenheim and Sara Oppenheim, relationship educator and counselor. No affiliation required. Cost for the series is $136 per couple. Thursday February 5 at 8 p.m. at the CTC
Weekly Parsha Class: This class focuses on gaining more insight and knowledge about the weekly Torah portion. Rabbi Benyamin Levin will give a deeper looks at what is happening behind the scenes that will enlighten and inspire attendees. No affiliation or member ship required. No charge for classes, but donations appreciated.

72 Minute Shabbat Learner’s Service
Unique 72 minute Saturday morning Shabbat Learner’s Service: The CTC provides an opportunity to learn how to participate in a Saturday morning Shabbat service in a supportive, welcoming and interactive environment. This short service is open to everyone who is interested in learning more about the prayers and the Torah portion of the week.  Kiddush immediately following the service.

CTC Kids Crafting Club – Join the (CTC) Cool Talented and Creative kids crafting club each month as we enjoy crafts designed to nurture Jewish ideals with our own Cool, Talented and Creative Elana Rapaport. Another kid favorite, Mr. Matt’s Zumba for Kids will get everyone up and moving to the beat! Most appropriate for children ages 5-11, but younger children welcome to join with parental assistance. Cost is $10 per child or $18 per family. No affiliation is required, but RSVP is necessary to sara@charlottetorahcenter.com.

While the adults are in the 72 minute learners service, children are invited for a special Shabbat service, story time, song and activities with Morah Jayme Kreitman on the 2nd Saturday of every month. Most appropriate for ages 2-6, but others wishing to participate are invited as well.
