Sara Oppenheim / Rebbetzin

Rebbetzin Sara Oppenheim brings warmth, creativity, and visionary leadership to CTC. At CTC since 2008, Sara oversees programming, strategy, events, and day-to-day operations. She is the founder and director of WOW Charlotte (Women of Wisdom) and a graduate of the CORE Leadership Program.

Andy Dinkin brings passion, professionalism, and strategic vision to his role as President of CTC. He is the President of THE SEALS, former Board Chairman of Girls on the Run International, and author of Going Pro in Life.

A Home for Meaningful Jewish Growth

The Charlotte Torah Center began with a simple but powerful vision: to make Jewish learning accessible, relevant, and alive. What started as intimate Torah discussions around a dining room table has grown into a vibrant community of families and individuals who seek to live with purpose, connection, and joy.

From weekly classes and spirited holiday celebrations to thoughtful discussions and shared meals, the Charlotte Torah Center has become a place where Judaism is experienced, not just studied. Every person who walks through our doors is welcomed with warmth, respect, and genuine curiosity. We believe that every Jew, regardless of background or level of knowledge, deserves the opportunity to explore the depth and beauty of their heritage in a supportive and non-judgmental environment.

Our mission is simple yet profound: to help every Jew connect more deeply with Torah, with one another, and with the joy of Jewish life.
